For so long us women have been made to feel that having periods is such an embarrassing thing, when it’s completely normal. I created the period pouch checklist to lessen the stigma around periods. Us moms should be able to prepare our daughters to not feel embarrassed. A period pouch checklist can help your daughter prepare everything she needs during her time of the month, so she can enjoy her day without feeling anxious about leaks, and other accidents. It’s time we finally say goodbye to period shaming and help our daughters face the changes with confidence.
When?
Vagina, period, menstruation are not bad words. Calling it as it is in front of our daughters can lessen the shame and embarrassment that goes with talking about it for when the time comes. Once your daughter reaches the tween years, it’s time to start preparing her for the things she’ll need with her to avoid accidents. Remember, it’s never too late or too early to be prepared. The great thing about the period pouch checklist is that any woman, at any age can benefit from it. The period pouch checklist works for pre-menstruating tweens, menstruating teens, and even us moms!
